Autothrottle is not responding.

Featured Replies

Autothrottle doest not respond under any circumstances. N1, Speed intervention, speed hold, etc. are all non-functional. I have done a recent uninstall and reinstall to troubleshoot non-related problems. Now my AT doesn't want to work. I have tried re-installing sevral times with all patches and all modifications updated with all posky merges. It just will not work. Even with a Wilco Aircraft, there is no response. I have tried everthing it seems and now my anger boils. If anyone has ever experienced this, please share.I am using the original posky 763 model which worked fine before.FS2002, Dimension P4 2.0ghz, 512mb,geeforce4,DX9

I always remembered my first major allergy problem. Went to the doctor and he asked me " What have you done differn't since you started seeing these symtoms"? The point being that PIC's A/T was fine before you did the re-install so to me sir that looks like your *problem* You must un-install pic through the control panel option then go into the main FS2002 aircraft folder and *delete* the "Wilco Publishing file folder" left over that the un-install did not remove. Also double check the main FS2002 dir for any B767 files still there and *delete* them also. Then use this in-stall patch cleaner ftp://ftp.wilcopub.com/W767Cleaner.exe Re-install PIC use this PIC 767 FS2002 patch ftp://ftp.wilcopub.com/767PilotinCommandPatchFS2002.exe I know there a a couple of guys around that seem to have problems that cannot be fixed. Of course this lies completly with whatever they got going on in thier system that we cannot help with. Sometimes people leave out a lot of important information that we need in determining a possible solution to their particular problem. If you are using some add on or mod of some type that you fail to mention because you think it has nothing to do with it, this will not help us help you. So please give greater details when describing a particular problem. Best Wishes,Randy J. "So please give greater details when describing a particular problem."What more detail would like me to share other than stating the obvious or boring readers with all that resides in my FS2002. My problem is very simple in that the autothrottle is not functioning. Maybe I forgot a line or to in the aircraft.cfg or the 767 installation is completeley corrupted and needs re-installing, inwhich you stated at first. Thanks for that. "some add on or mod of some type that you fail to mention because you think it has nothing to do with it"I have many add-ons ranging from all Airport2000 series to World Airports, Mesh Scenery, FDCompanion, Aerosoft's Mcp, CSI's EFIS,to Hong Kong scenery. BTW What I meant by reinstalling was OS and all. I hope this helps you narrow the problem.Again, If anyone had any past experience, please share. "What have you done differn't since you started seeing these symtoms"? I ripped my nose out and put in a new one. What do you think DOC? :-lol

I figured out my own problem. My pfc products module has a "gameport noise interference suppressor" when you enable this feature or any one like it, It disable the autothrottle features in PIC767. So for those of you who plan on purchasing or currently use PFC's jetliner yoke or throttle quadrant, beware. I was going bonkers trying to figure out where I went wrong. I guess you learn from your mistakes. Thanks for the input Randy.

Thanks for sharing the the info with us ETB, I know to look to this for a possible answer in the future . Happy flying my friendBest Wishes,Randy J. [email protected]" A little learning is a dangerous thing"AMD XP2100 |MUNCHKIN512 DDR RAM |ECS[/b ]K7S5A MB |[b]GF364 MEG |WIN XP PRO
