Wierd Error Message with 767 PIC

Featured Replies

I have finally been able to load the 767 PIC with FS2002 correct patch and got the program to work. Now I getting a wierd error message when FS2002 starts up using 767 PIC. The message is "Scenery library object not found. This may cause some scenery such as some buildings to not display." And then it lists a bunch of ID's which I assume are the scenery objects. This screen comes up several times with different IDs listing. I click ok on each screen and eventually FS2002 loads with the 767 cockpit. Everything seems to work well until I fly and apparently come into one of those areas where the scenery fails and I get the same error message. This does not happen with any of the other planes in FS2002 so I assume it has something to do with 767 PIC. Does anyone have any ideas what is going on and is there a fix? Thanks.

Hi there,it looks like you're using the deafult model that came with the original PIC. This is an FS2000 model that displays some parts of the aircraft as scenery. You could try and fix this by checking if all the correct entries are in your main FS/scenery folder. But I would recommend doing a search on this forum for 'PIC/POSKY' and download the merge file by Lee Hetherington for use of the panel with the POSKY model. Not only are the POSKY models much more accurate and look infinitely better, they're also made for FS2002 in Gmax, and therefore much more frame-rate friendly.Cheers,Gosta. http://hifi.avsim.net/activesky/images/wxrebeta.jpg
