February 28, 200323 yr Hi guysI was catching up on the FMC operations yesterday and was fiddeling a little trying to make some acurate SIDs and STARs for ESSA when I noticed that the FMC (at least the 737NG one) can distinguish two different waypoints. Fly-by and fly-over. Does the same apply to the 767 FMC?I know the default pilot entered waypoints are always fly-by. But a lot of waypoints in departure and arrival procedures are fly-over. But can you tell the PIC FMC that a certain waypoint is fly-over?Thanks Mats JohanssonPMDG Flight Test Dept | Asus Z270-A | Intel i5-7600K @ 4.8 GHz OC/H2O | nVidia Geforce GTX 1070 8GB OC/O2|
February 28, 200323 yr Unfortunately Not.Fly Over Waypoints are Hard Coded into the Real FMC Procedures. The only way is to create a dummy waypoint a little further on, and then tweak it's position until the FMC is fooled into Flying over the waypoint you want it to.Hope this helps.Mark
