IFDG 757 Barrall roll?

Featured Replies

Hi guys, I merged the IFDG 57 as directed, but I find on landing, after i disengage the AP and hand fly the approach the thing will bank right over? I even reinstalled PIC, but i cannot get this thing to land without it flipping over right on final?any ideas?

Is the merge the only plane that messes up? Perhaps you have a bum joystick.

I get the exact same thing, i barley turn and it just wants to roll like a fighter.Happy FlyingAnthony Hurst

Yup exactly what is happing to Anthony,It never happens with the 767.Also some times taxing it dosen't stop turning.I have tried 2 flights in the past 2 day both ended up in a crash. Also when on approch if i use the Heading select it never turns directly to the selected heading it always at least 3-5 degrees off sometimes more. this only happens with 57 pic.

anyone else get this?

Yes, got it too... Don't know what it is. I just keep flying the 767...

No problems here

I had the same symptoms. Also there were talks about it in the IFDG forum (Plane starts taxiing on idle...)I looked for an answer or advice from Izkander but did not find any...for now I returned to the escape airfile (compromise concerning fmc speeds, higher idle N1 values, maybe too quick/strong during climb) but otherwise fine handling during taxi and approach.

I have this same issue, it is caused (only occured for me with the default install into FS2002 & on the ground default PIC aircraft)by the rudder locking full right. When I noticed this, it reminded me of a real world problem with some 737s several years ago. So I thought it was a failure.Well, it has continued to do it each time I taxi out with a default 767 PIC aircraft. I have not tried any others since this started to occur, but I will later.Anyways...
