HiI have used the merge before but since upgrading to XP Pro a problem. The merege keeps saying "error it is not in the FS2002/aircraft folder" but it is. I have tried following the additional instructions but cannot get the aircraft cfg. to merge. I have tried to activate the Command Prompt but tis does not seem to work also. Any ideas ? Thanks in anticipation.

Richard,If your having trouble installing the .Posky aircraft model. in WinXP, please see Randy Smith's 'outstanding' Zip file for installing the Posky model in a very simplified way. Look up 'POSKY/PIC 767 HOW TO'. It is on page 4 of this forum or 5 and is 'Reading Topic 2632. You don't have to get involved in all the "Mombo-Jumbo" of doing this, and doing that, in all the file folders etc, etc. It's very, very simple and that's the way it should have been in the first place. Thanks again Randy for an outstanding job in simplifying the problem involving installing the POSKY model.Regards,

I think you are moving the folder that CONTAINS another folder of the same name. When you unzip the MERGE file and when you open it, does it contain ANOTHER FILE FOLDER named the same with the contents within this SECOND FOLDER? If so, just drag the second one to your aircraft folder. Then follow my instructions here; http://ftp.avsim.com/cgi-bin/dcforum/dcboa...rum=DCForumID33Best Wishes,Randy J.
