Hi everyone!A freind of mine and I are thinking of creating a new program to create FMS procedures. I know there is one around but we're trying something new (no guarantees :-) )Anyhow, could someone help us with the format of the FMS procedure files?W,GED,,0,50.411945,9.249164,110.800003,255.000000,0,11000,0,This is what we believe we know by now:W: Always present as the first letter.GED: Name of the waypoint, has no relevance to the database,,: Just has to be present after the waypoint name?50.411945: N/S coordinates. Positive number is North.9.249164: E/W coordinates. Positive number is East.110.800003: The navaid's frequency. What's the 3 for?255.000000: The speed restriction for this waypoint.0: The 0 after the spd restriction. Don't know what it does.11000: Altitude constraint.0: The type of altitude constraint? Such as above, below, above xxx below yyy? Thanks for any advise!RegardsMark

Yes, GED is what gets displayed on the LEGS page, but it does not have to correspond to a real waypoint in the database.I can't remember all the other details you're questioning, but I would recommend programming up an "interesting" procedure with A, B, A/B altitude constraints, speed constraints, etc. and then seeing how they are encoded in the FMC file. You'll quickly figure it out.Lee Hetherington (KBED)http://vatsim.pilotmedia.fi/statusindicato...tor=OD1&a=a.jpg

I'm not certain what exactly you are in the process of making but perhaps you could convert the data from the real FMS Honeywell Download Format.It may not be possible but I thought I would share the idea.For example: HONEYWELL DOWNLOAD FORMAT120590 060239 000000 000 330 .82 27052 05988 43 11CYYZ N4340.6 W07937.8 -1. -50 00000 999 000YYZ079 N4346.7 W07912.1 -1. -50 27032 CL CLBTOC -1. -50 27072 CL CLBMSS N4454.9 W07443.4 -1. -50 26105 55 330KELVI N4502.4 W07412.9 -1. -50 26102 55 330NAPEE N4510.4 W07340.2 -1. -50 26105 55 330YSC N4519.0 W07147.3 -1. -50 26109 55 330TOPPS N4520.4 W06744.3 -1. -50 27116 55 330AJGUB N4519.5 W06741.6 -1. -50 27125 57 350YSJ N4524.4 W06552.3 -1. -50 27126 57 350YQY N4609.2 W06003.4 -1. -50 27111 56 330COLOR N4640.4 W05230.8 -1. -50 28104 57 37047N050W N4700.0 W05000.0 -1. -50 27089 53 37047N040W N4700.0 W04000.0 -1. -50 25073 54 37047N030W N4700.0 W03000.0 -1. -50 23055 60 37045N020W N4500.0 W02000.0 -1. -50 32020 59 37044N013W N4400.0 W01300.0 -1. -50 01013 52 370STG N4255.6 W00825.5 -1. -50 33007 48 380VEDER N4244.6 W00552.2 -1. -50 27014 48 380RAKEL N4243.8 W00542.4 -1. -50 26016 48 380DGO N4226.9 W00253.1 -1. -50 25019 48 380KUMAN N4153.8 W00021.4 -1. -50 24025 49 380QUV N4117.7 E00205.1 -1. -50 25039 51 380MUREN N4103.5 E00440.0 -1. -50 25044 53 380GOBIS N4044.5 E00722.7 -1. -50 26045 55 380DESOG N4039.6 E00800.4 -1. -50 26047 56 380ALG N4037.7 E00814.6 -1. -50 26046 56 380QUENN N4009.9 E01032.6 -1. -50 27055 57 390VELEX N3958.0 E01127.5 -1. -50 27055 56 390RONAB N3952.2 E01153.5 -1. -50 28058 57 390AMANO N3925.3 E01347.8 -1. -50 28060 58 390VENTO N3918.2 E01416.0 -1. -50 28059 56 390CRN N3859.8 E01705.0 -1. -50 29062 57 390TOMGI N3843.1 E01813.3 -1. -50 29063 57 390TESPA N3834.6 E01847.0 -1. -50 29063 57 390RUTOM N3831.1 E01900.0 -1. -50 29063 57 390DONIS N3818.8 E02015.2 -1. -50 29064 57 390TOD -1. -50 29068 57 390ARA N3806.5 E02125.4 -1. -50 29071 DS DSCRILIN N3758.0 E02240.0 -1. -50 29059 DS DSCKOR N3756.0 E02256.0 -1. -50 29025 DS DSCEGN N3745.9 E02325.4 -1. -50 30019 DS DSCLGAV N3756.2 E02356.7 -1. -50 03008 DS DSCLGTS N4031.2 E02258.3 -1. -50 00000 999 -50Best Regards,

Mark,This is the format of the FMS data when an airline uploads it as a co-route. It is displayed on some airlines flight plans. Again, it may be useless but I thought I would share it.Best Regards,
