Hello,Yesterday a made a mistake by missing the locelizer. After that I dissable my autopilot to set the aircraft on the ground manualy. It was impossible for me to pitch the aircraft down to let it land?My speed was around 160kt, still I couldn't get more then let me say 1000ft per minute (I needed 2000ft p/m because I was too high above the locelizer) ore something like that by stearing by hand?Someone a clue?thxvortovor

ahhh, the PIC director himself!....thx for your great help!! OMGvortovor

LOL! Hey now. I would never advise a 2000FPM approach. 3 degree slope is what you want at 700-800FPM. You were @ 160 knots already and even if you did get down , you would be comming in way to fast for a safe landing. Remember that Southwest aircraft a couple of years back that was too high and fast and ended up parked at a gas station? Best Wishes, Randy J.
