April 2, 200323 yr ...the SF260. I think it'll be a big break from the long 5-8 hours haul in the big, stable steel bird. I want to do some hands on flying and I think it'll feel quite different when I go back to 767 again ;-)
April 3, 200323 yr It's a really GREAT aircraft. In fact I like it much more than the Meridian by Flight 1. Try it with Active Camera 1.3 in the virtual cockpit and you'll never turn back :)Best Wishes, Randy J. April 3, 200323 yr Seriously, I was test flying it today for the first time (just got it last night). Stall=great. Spin=WOOOW!! I had activecam and active sky running too. Holy Molly!I still have to decide what to fly this weekend: cross country in the little sporty or another LAX-DFW haul. I like them both for 2 completely different reasons :)
April 3, 200323 yr Well Shane buddy'ol pal you will soon indeed. FS9 "Century Of Flight" will incorporate clickable virtual cockpits as a new standard. Make no doubt about it, most if not all add-on developers will follow. If I had a clickable type for my Sai Marchetti 260 I would be a happy man. Of course we will never see this for PIC 767 but will have to wait and see what aircraft the PIC Team are deveolping for us next.Best Wishes, Randy J. April 3, 200323 yr The SF260 doesn't have clickable VC but I think the small panel you use with VC is pretty cute. Plus, you don't have to zoom in to see a switch, and zoom back out again after clicking on it.
April 3, 200323 yr Well thats not what I was talking about.. I can't fly in VC, Spot, Tower, Because i get these horrible stutters!
April 4, 200323 yr I may get it figured out - LOLMy Video thing in BIOS is set to VGA PC instead of VGA AGP... Dunno! RRRRRRrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrRrrrrrrrrrraaaaaaandddddddddddddddddyyyyyyyy!!!!!!!!!!!!!
