April 24, 200323 yr When my autopilot is on I can't turn to a heading how can I fix this in the aircraft.cfg ??
April 24, 200323 yr You don't need to "fix" anything. If you desire to fly a heading by hand try this, disengage the autopilot by pulling down the disengage bar on the right side of the MCP, then push the same bar back to arm. Then switch off the flight director switch (F/D) and fly the heading by hand. You still have autothrottle (if SPD is selected and A/T switch engaged) regardless of the A/P's engagement. To resume heading hold or heading select, just choose an autopilot (CMB) button.[h5]Best Wishes,Randy J. April 24, 200323 yr There's no need to turn off the F/D, as long as you follow its commands (i.e. turn the HDG knob to the desired heading).Martin767 fetishistIt's a lot like life and that's what's appealing
April 24, 200323 yr Yes Martin, but he asked how to do it with the A/P "on" and that's the closest he will get with this bird. LOL[h5]Best Wishes,Randy J.
