Have noticed the following problem the past few flights I have done.Reset MCP Altitude and commence Descent. Use the ECON Descnet forecasts of Mach 0.788/296 Knots. Commencing descent speed reduces from Mach 0.80 to approx M0.76 before catching up with itself around 26000ft when it has switched to 296 knots instead of the Mach 0.788.Is this in anyway related to the Taxi Thrust modification, as I cannot remember having this problem before I installed the Taxi Thrust Mod. Help Much appreciated.

I had this problem before I installed the taxi thrust mod...I've always had to hit F3 a few times to get the plane back up to the set speed.Ryan

Hi AllThis may be a wild guess on this since I have not worried about this performance before. I'll take a look at this tomorrow if I get bored.Do you have any crossing restrictions between the TOD(Top Of Descent) and the BOD (Bottom of Descent)? What number have you plugged into your cost index?Do you have any wind forecast(s) plugged in?How close is the green arc to your planned BOD point when you get within 4000' of the BOD?What is the difference in the IAS between Mach .76 and mach .78? (not sure what your altitude is)?Tim757

Guys,Thanks for all the replies. When I get the time over the next few days I am going to do a comparison flight between the normal air file and the taxi thrust air file. I am also going to test out some different parameters to see if this makes any difference. Will post my results along with some screenshots and let you know how I got on.
