July 6, 200322 yr HiI am attempting to program the CONGA 1R RWY24 departure from EGCC,which has the following routing:STRAIGHT AHEAD, AT MCT 2 DME TURN LEFT, INTERCEPT HON R-342 INBOUND TO CONGA INT.The first part is achieved by entering MCT237/2, using runway heading, but how do I program the left turn to 163 deg? I know I could use HDG SEL to turn the aircraft, but I would like to save the procedure as a SID. Any suggestions, please? Thanks,Frank
July 6, 200322 yr Moderator Hi Frank,Firstly, the CONGA SID has been changed for jet aircraft and is now named LISTO. I suggest you input the lat/lon coordinates for the relevant waypoints. Here's the SID details as I have them for 24R...;SID generated by 767PicPdv;F:FS2002FmcWpNavDataSidsEGCC-HON 1R.wsd;Departure Rwy 024RW,Fix,,0,53.326668,-2.330500,0.000000,0.000000,0,0,0W,Fix,,0,53.323700,-2.388481,0.000000,0.000000,0,0,0W,Fix,,0,53.307915,-2.434619,0.000000,0.000000,0,0,0W,TABLY,,0,53.271938,-2.450556,0.000000,0.000000,0,0,0W,SANBA,,0,53.139439,-2.334167,0.000000,0.000000,0,0,0W,HON,,0,52.356670,-1.663613,0.000000,0.000000,0,0,0End of Standard Instrument DepartureThere's a very useful utility named 767PICPDV.DLL which works with FSNav v4 and exports SID and STAR details into the relevant folders to be picked up by the 767 FMC. If you'd like it let me know your e-mail address and I'll send it to you.Hope that helps. Ray (Cheshire, England). July 6, 200322 yr Frank, download this file:http://library.avsim.net/sendfile.php?DLID=31838complete set of custom made SID/STAR procedures for the UK - Extremely accurate.
July 6, 200322 yr Hi Ray,Thanks for your help!I did try lat/long entry, but the result was a bit off from the SID -12nm/166deg instead of 14nm/163deg.I should confess I'm new to 767PIC, and was not aware that the SID had changed(I was using a SID published in an old version of PC Pilot(SID is marked Mar 00), so I'm grateful for the update.I haven't yet purchased FSNav4, but was a big fan of the earlier versions, so I will certainly buy it(I was also looking at FSBuild 2.0 and trying to choose between them). Please send the SID/STAR export utility to [email protected] once again,Frank
July 7, 200322 yr Moderator Hi Frank,Check your e-mail for the DLL. I've looked at the SIDS that Mark recommended and they look bang up to date for Manchester so those would be your best bet. The latest change was STOCK became DESIG.Cheers, Ray (Cheshire, England).
