Here's a secret! (shhhhh!)Get mountable removable racks for your hard drive.Get 2, they're about $14.Have one HD configured for FS2002 only, nothing else at all!Have the other HD configured for everything else.If you can, try & have a common D: drive so that you can transfer files between the two systems.I discovered this several years ago. it's a great alternative to 'multiple' OS's on one HD.Your error might be, because I don't know your HD contents, might be because of program conflicts, leaky memory and so on. As time goes on your system starts to develop artifacts from old programs not porperly deleted, spyware and a host of other reasons. This way you can have a clean setup for FS2002.

Those system specs might be a bit on the low side to run Simflyer's scenery. The only way I could see it working is with some serious tweaking.Ryan-Flightpro08 :-coolVATSIM Pilot/ControllerZLA ARTCC Controller 1 (C-1)SAN TRACON Lead [link:www.taxiwaysigns.com]Taxiwaysigns.com Scenery Designer

Are you using a fixed-length swap file? If so, switching it back to Windows-managed or increasing the max size could help.Trip

Sounds like you've sorted the problem. (More physical RAM wouldn't have helped and if you don't know how to change the swap file you don't need to do it :-) ). Hope all is working OK now.Trip
