Question on using the "temporary patch" posted here to use PIC in FS9

I have the instructions for migrating PIC into FS9 (the "temporary patch" posted here some several weeks ago). I have the original CD, and when installing it into FS2002 (which I still have on my system) I apply the FS2002 patch from the Wilco site. Other than the excellent enhancements for landing/VFR views, TCAS, etc., are there any other changes to the FS2002 PIC install that I need to do before commencing moving PIC into FS9, and incorporating the modified panel.cfg and other various panel files that are included in the "temporary patch"?Thanks,Bruce.
