TCAS versus FSUIPC 3

Featured Replies

Hi there,At this moment I use Lee's new TCAS gauge in combination with an "old" version of FSUIPC (2.975). It works great. Can I expect any problems with the TCAS gauge when I should use an unregistered version of the new FSUIPC (3.02)?Thanks in advance,Alje Bakker

No, Lee has a key already embeded in it. You will lose other FSUPIC functionality though if you upgrade to 3.0 without registering...Ryan

If you're running FS2002, as I suspect you are, there's no need to upgrade to FSUIPC v3.02....v2.975 works just fine for the addons that need and you still get the ability to tweak FS2002.I'm running both versions; v2.975 under FS2002 and an unregistered v3.02 under COF2004.

My gauge has no problem running with an unregistered FSUIPC 3 as other have said. However, I have a problem with FS2004 that I have fixed and expect to release an update within a day.Lee Hetherington (KBED)

Hi guys,Thanks for your answers. It is now completely clear to me. I got again a step forward in making my decision whether to install FSUIPC3 or not. At this moment I am still not convinced of the pro's to install a registered copy of FSUIPC3. At this moment I use Fs2k2 and I am very happy with it. What are the pro's of Fs2k4? Are there anyway pro's? Maybe is there someone who can tell me more about that issue.By the way Lee, thanks a lot for your TCAS gauge.Kind regards,Alje Bakker
