PIC767 and FSBUS

Featured Replies

Not totally out of topic, the post may fit in both this forum and the Cockpit builders but I preffer to post it here since here are the pilots of the 767PIC.Does anyone made FSBUS work with the PIC767 panel? I think Tero you have done something like this? Do I remember correctly? How hard is it and how is this achieved, taking into account that FSBUS talks to FS via FSUIPC to the standard FS variables, and PIC does not use those?Any help appreciated. Thanks!George DorkofikisAthens, Greece

Hello George.Yes, I have implemented my home cockpit panel functions to work with the current PIC. PICv2 is going to offer access to all internal variables, so it's gonna be a helluva lot easier with it then. But, in the meantime. You CAN make it work with FSBUS.Here's what I have done, and what I use to "steer" the function:k = keyboard mapped event, ie. I make FSBUS send a corresponding keyboard press that is defined in FS or PIC custom control settingsm = mouse mapped event, ie. I make FSBUS move mouse to the desired function on the panel and either press L or R mouse button. What's important is that the mouse arrow will not be seen on the screen, because it's moved to screen edge away from everything after every action (so it moves in between the location and the screen edge, and this means that the mouse arrow will not be seen on top of the desired function location).f= FSUIPC internal mapping (via offsets)The MCP:F/D kA/T kN1 kSPD kIAS MACH kSPD INT kSPD ROTARY mLNAV kVNAV kFLCH kHDG SEL kHDG ROTARY mHDG HOLD kV/S ROTARY mV/S kALT ROTARY mALT HOLD kB/C kLOC kAPP kL,C,R AP kG/A kDISENGAGE kThe new module:LANDING LTS mPOS LTS mRED A-C LTS mWHITE A-C LTS mWING LTS mPANEL LTS mHYD PRI PMPS mHYD DEMAND PMPS ROTARY mPAX SIGNS mBAT SW mSTBY PWR ROTARY mAPU ROTARY mL STARTER ROTARY + GND mR STARTER ROTARY + GND mFUEL PUMPS mCROSSFEED SW mL PACK ROTARY mR PACK ROTARY mL ISLN mR ISLN mWING AI mL ENGINE AI mR ENGINE AI mMASTERW mCANCEL mRECALL mSPD BUGS SET mAUTOBRAKE mLDG GEAR kENGINE DISPLAY mSTATUS DISPLAY mCLOCK RUN&HOLD mCLOCK RST mL RDMI SELECT mR RDMI SELECT mHSI RANGE mHSI MODE mL FUEL CTRL SWITCH mR FUEL CTRL SWITCH mPARK BRAKE mRUDDER TRIM mCOM DISPLAY (5x7seg) fCOM WHOLE ROTARY mCOM INCR ROTARY mCOM STBY mNAV1 DISPLAY (5x7seg) fNAV1 WHOLE ROTARY mNAV1 INCR ROTARY mCRS ROTARY mAUTO/MAN MODE SELECT mNAV2 DISPLAY (5x7seg)fNAV2 WHOLE ROTARY mNAV2 INCR ROTARY mNAV2 STBY mADF DISPLAY (5x7seg) fADF WHOLE ROTARY kADF INCR ROTARY kADF STBY mXPDR DISPLAY (5x7seg) fXPDR DIGIT ROTARIES (1,2,3,4) mTCAS MODE SW (XPDR DIGIT ROTARIES 1,2) mTCAS RANGE SW (XPDR DIGIT ROTARIES 3,4) mQNH DISPLAY (5x7seg) fQNH ROTARY mQNH QUICK SET SW (QNH ROTARY) kDA ROTARY mDH ROTARY mPics of my modules:http://www.ee.oulu.fi/~partanen/MCPuus.jpghttp://www.ee.oulu.fi/~partanen/paneeli_uus.jpgregardsTero
