Several warning callouts after liftoff - a bug ?

Featured Replies

Hello, when I start FS2002 + PIC v1.2, I have the following problem making a takeoff:- the first time everything is ok.- when I reload the situation and try the same takeoff again, the PIC panel shows a strange behaviour after liftoff: several callouts occur ('too low - flaps', 'terrain' ...), the config warning light comes up, also the gear door lights. It seems that the panel logic doesn't recognize the takeoff-situation ?!Only a restart of FS2002 solves the problem (for one takeoff, then the same happens again).Matthias Huck, Oelde, Germany

Hello,I seem to be the only one who has this problem ??I found out that loading another plane an reload PIC solves the problem for one takeoff ...Matthias

Hi Matthias,I also have the same problem. Any help would be more than welcome.Sebastian

Are you doing an full engine shut down after the first flight?

I have seen this too. 767 PIC seems to get confused if you have taken off, then try and reload from a ground-based scenario. Simple answer is don't do this. Better answer is to save before you take off, exit to the main menu after take off (if something you have done makes you want to restart), then reload the same flight. Alternative is just to ignore the expected multi-voice warning collection.Gary.

No, I did no engine shutdown. I wanted to practice takeoffs, so I flew until I reached 5000ft, then reloaded the same situation -> the bug appeared after the next liftoff.I will try exiting to the menu screen (at the moment it is deactivated in fs2002.cfg). Perhaps I needn't load another aircraft than; this takes a lot of time !Thank you,Matthiasp.s.: another problem occured, but I'll make another thread.

One of the guys who frequents this forum - HPSOV I think - who flies the 767 for QANTAS posted a good tutorial on this.Hope this helps.

Thank you, Mark,I didn't find the topic yet, but I will try to find it. Matthias
