Reinstalling PIC767

Featured Replies

Hello everyone. About a week ago I had to reinstall fs2002 and now I need to reinstall the PIC767. I purchased the download version about three months ago. I put it on to a CD as a back up. When I opened the CD, the set up comes up as a white box and it won't run. Please help me. I am about to just buy the boxed version. Erik

I have no clue about the downloaded version Erik, sorry. Did you try copying the files off the CD to your hard drive and try running from there?

I agree with Mike on this one, copy the EXE over to your hardrive then try to run the setup. I always check my backup files on CDs before I delete them from my hard drive because nothing ever works 100%..[h4]Best Wishes,Randy J. Smithhttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/betaimg.jpg

Hey guys thanks for the replies. I tried moving the shortcut to setup.exe to my hard drive and it still comes up as a shortcut file. When I click on it,it says "windows is searching for setup.exe." Erik

Hate to say it Erik, but that sounds like you only copyied the *shortcut* and left the original file on your hard drive when you formatted! I would contact Wilco for a replacement, explain your situation, they might be able to help you.[h4]Best Wishes,Randy J. Smithhttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/betaimg.jpg

Thanks Randy, I have just decided to purchase the boxed version as I can't live with out this airliner. Anyway, every time I try to contact wilco, it takes them three weeks to respond. Thanks again. Erik
