January 16, 200422 yr Hello guys and gals.. i have a question how can i load FP's into the 767 PIC FMC? like ones i made with FSBUILD 2 or i got from avsim or even how do i make one lol...thanks...
January 16, 200422 yr Follow the Link to download the FMC manual. You will need this.ftp://ftp.wilcopub.com/767_FMC.pdfPIC Flightplans are stored in .rte format in the FMCWP folder in FS.FSBuild 2 can automatically save your flightplans to the FMCWP folder. You would then load the FP using the COROUTE section of RTE Page 1.Programming of the other FP's into the FMC is explained in detail in the FMC manual.
January 16, 200422 yr k i finally got the FMC to work lol k but which button or how would i have the a/c goign on like autopilot to go the FP route? is it the LNAV or VNAV button or wat?thanks...
January 16, 200422 yr Hi,LNAV for lateral profile, ie. the route itself. VNAV for vertical (dynamical) profile, ie. speed and altitude.Suggest you read the manuals, too.Tero PPL(A)

January 16, 200422 yr Throttle to 70% N1 on EICAS.. N1Throttle on MCP engage80kts throttle hold...V1 VR ROTATE pos rate clmb GEAR UPAfter 1000' or what ever... Vnav...left CMD on Autopilot. Then turn to intercept the magenta line, or LSK1 left on leg page and re-enter it...(dotted white) EXCUTE it (Magenta again)Lnav..Coffee(beer)If you want FSNav to fly for you, then you may as well fly something other than PIC. PIC is a challenge, but you will love it when you learn it.
January 17, 200422 yr lineupempty the taxi beer(should be the 2nd, after the 'flightprep beer')throttle 70%, verify engines both spooling up smoothly(no lag)press N1 on MCP80kt callout, verify THR HLD is announcedthen the v's...pos rate, gear up climbout wings level up to xxx (depends on ,the departure)confirm gear up, lever OFFkeep climbing V2+15 till reaching the set accel/height.meanwhile make soft turns to follow departure(remember, low speed, carefull turning) passing the TA(in europe at least) take out the after takeoff checklist + beerthen you can either: be tough and fly the bird up to cruise alt manually, or call good ol' george in and enjoy the beer + view (after having activated the VNAV and LNAV (check interception with planned path))that's how i do it, without the beer though ;)Cheers
