April 17, 200422 yr I have a CHYoke with prop and mixture. How do I assign the Prop leaver to the speed brake key send command "/"?Any entries to the config available for me?
April 17, 200422 yr Bill,Did you try the assignments option in FS? Before I had my home made pedestal (conncted via the MCP, so now it works differently) I did the same with my CHYoke. In that screen you can assign the axes of a joystick to several functions, including the spoilers.Caveat: can't ry it here, so I might be wrong.Kind regards,Stephan Haaswww.lemont.nl/b767flightdeckhttp://www.pic767flyingclub.com/images/sas544.jpg
April 17, 200422 yr Bill,Easy!Just use the FS2004 CH flightsim yoke axis assignments for the spoiler. Then calibrate it using FSUIPC spoiler-setting under Joysticks subpage. You will be able to use completely analogue speedbrake, ie. it will move without steps. You don't need any speedbrake arm switches either, just pull back the lever a bit, and the speedbrake nicely goes to the armed notch. It is very handy. You can also use the other lever as a reversethrust lever. For this you have to decide which one of the levers you want to use as the reversethrust lever, so you can change the "ReverserControl=66292" line in the FSUIPC.INI to correspond that lever (66291 for prop lever, 66292 for mixture lever). After that you will need to have that lever assigned to its default assignment in FS2004! If you're using the prop lever, assign it to prop. If you're using the mixture lever, again normally assign it to mixture in FS. After that goto FSUIPC Joystick settings again, and find the last subpage of it, where you can calibrate the reversethrust lever (which is either the mixture or the prop lever, depending on your FSUIPC.INI setting and FS assignments).Tero PPL(A)
