May 7, 200422 yr Hi,Using Tero's new V3 757 FDE I've having problems with stabilizer trim. I have read the supplied documentation about the visual model being a bit messed up with the new FDE of course but this shouldn't effect the actual flight physics. I set the trim according to Tero's supplied values at takeoff and everything is smooth up to cruising altitude. When I finish my initial decent into the landing terminal area and disconnect the autopilot, the stabilizer trim goes full up and will not respond to any input. This makes pitch control very very difficult needless to say. It's like there is some kind of hydraulic or electric stab trim failure but nothing is indicated on my panel.I have all hydraulic systems operating normally with no indicated failures when this happens. For whatever reason I cannot regain pitch trim control at autopilot disconnect. I've only encountered this problem with the V3 flight dynamics.Does anyone have any insight into what could possibly be going on?Thank you.
May 7, 200422 yr Hi againVery odd! I have not seen that behaviour ever.Give more details, what are your FS2002 settings btw ?Tero PPL(A)
May 8, 200422 yr Hi Tero,Now I can't reproduce this problem, lol. It must be some goofy fluke with my particular setup, perhaps something to do with going from full screen to windowed mode and surfing the internet during long flights :)PIC never did like switching modes and it has always caused a few quirky analomies. I'll see if I can trace this to something like that.Thank you! Still having endless fun with the new FDE, it's wonderful!
