September 24, 200421 yr Hello,I'm still using FS2002 (of course, flying PIC 767), and that will not change in the next time because I'm tired of updating Hardware/Software again and again wasting all my time instead of flying. Now my problem: Is there any Nav-Database for PIC FMC (and for other Addons like NAV3 or RadarContact3) that represents the Situation (VOR's, Runway directions and so on) in FS2002 as good as possible ?Installing actual AIRAC cycles brings you up to date, but if you are (like me) not flying online I think it would make less trouble taking FS2002-Database as reference (so VORs are at the correct locations, with correct frequencies and so on).Matthias Huck
September 24, 200421 yr www.navdata.atInstalling the monthly AIRAC Navdata upgrade does exactly what you are looking for.
September 24, 200421 yr Commercial Member Actually Mark, I think he's asking if there's a database he can install that matches the FS2002 default navdata... as to that question, I highly doubt it. Ryan MaziarzFor fastest support, please submit a ticket at http://support.precisionmanuals.com
September 24, 200421 yr Gotcha. It has been suggested before that MS should provide either monthly or twice yearly updates of the Navdata.
September 25, 200421 yr You're right Ryan, I do not want to have the most actual navdata because they do not fit to FS2002's data. I would like to have Navdata for PIC (and other addons) which represents the status of FS2002.Matthias
September 26, 200421 yr MHuck,I'm not sure, but if you go to the mentioned website, you could find an outdated database (maybe if you contact Richard Stephan, he could help you on this one.)The other solution would be do search through the avsim database, or maybe try the Wilco website, they may have something in their product support webpage.Sorry, I can't be more useful,Regards,Francois
September 26, 200421 yr I just wonder if I'm the only one who has big trouble with wrong runway headings and ILS frequencies ?Matthias
