December 15, 200421 yr Just wanted to repost this question as it was a valid thread before it went off topic and is yet to be answered by the more than likely very busy LDS crew....I apologize wholeheartedly if this is a topic that has been answered, but was curious and hopefull that the huge amount of flightplans, sids, and stars I have created over the years will be salvagable, or if I will need to start from square one again. Thanks guys!Neil ... and an answer from DS ... Hey qball - how are ya? Not sure whether they can be transferred from PIC1.Anyone in the know know?Daryl Shuttleworth DS3339I'd be interested in this information as well. I spent a lot of time building my procedures for the PIC (I don't care about flightplans) and I'm interested if I have to convert them or start from scratch. Obviously we are too far down the road to change anything - but the format used by the PMDG crew for their procedures is not bad - if we can't have something simple - then it would be nice if LDS or someone in the community could release a utility like the old Pic Editor.Enough said - looking forward to flying this baby soon.
December 16, 200421 yr Commercial Member Yeah I'm hoping that we get a nice procedure editor with the LDS as well... The old method with 1000's of small files is rather clunky compared to the single text file method PMDG designed for the NG. December 16, 200421 yr Hi Ian. As the author of the Free PIC Editor I too am interested in the format to be used. I am considering updating my editor or maybe writing another converter but it depends on how much information I can get from LDS. I also produce DAFIF SIDS/STARs/IAPs for the PMDG 737NG, the PSS aircraft, the Aviograsf A340 and the Wilco 767 PIC V1 on the 28 day cycle. I want to do this for the 767 PIC V2 model also. To try and get a head start I have tried to contact LDS several times but got no replies. I'm forced to guess they are not interested in my assistance. So, it looks like we are all in the same waiting boat.RegardsTerry
