Minimum Specs

Featured Replies

Guys, just wanting to know in advance (I figure now this is a question that should safely have an answer from the LDS team) what sort of realistic system spec's we should be aiming for to fly this bird seamlessly.Advanced warning is appreciated because it may give me some time to get my a$$ into gear and hit up the post christmas sales for hardware! Thanks guys, if you cannot comment thats fine, just figured it would be good to know early.

I don't believe that there is an official minimum spec. yet. However, I would say that if you are presently running any high end modern FS9 add on that you should expect similar performance from the LDS767.

My programming/testing system is an AMD 1900 with an Nvidia GF 4200. I get good frame rates (low 20s) with detail settings in the medium range. I find that having a lot of memory helps, I have 768megs.It's pretty hard to give a minimum spec because there are so many variables.Wade

True on the variables, although having developers and beta testers let in on what they use and what performance levels they acheive out of them sets a pretty good benchmark. Still Wade, those results are comforting.Enjoy your christmas guys! I know I sure will!
