PICv2 Tutorial???

Featured Replies

If possible,I would really like to know if the upcoming project will include a tutorial document, so, some of us, that are not really experts in 767 procedures, will be able to learn how to start from dark panel up to shut down list, following the right procedures, and at the same time learning what everything does and when to use it..Finally, will the two engines consume the equal amount of fuel???...I remember that in PICv1 the right or left engine used to burn more fuel thatn the otherHappy new year to everyoneRodrigo

If I remember right, the first PIC used to burn fuel equally but the internal mechanics of the program would have it burn a set quantity from the left tank then a set quantity from the right tank, and it would keep switching back and forth until they ran out.. I have no idea why they did this.. However if you were to look at the FS variables for fuel as the program is running, you will see the left tanks quantity would decrease then stop then the right tanks quantity decrease.. it was very interesting.. I am hoping however they changed this methodology in LDS.

Hi,The right/left fuel consumption inbalance is fixed. You will get a new pilot's manual very detailled, entirely rewritten by Eric Ernst. There is no tutorial as you described (even if you will get very detailled check-lists), but I think that some beta-testers have in mind to write that kind of tutorial after the release.

Thanks for the info...Let's wait to see if someone does the job of a nice tutorial...specially now that it will be more realistic..Cheers and happy new year,Rodrigo
