February 5, 200521 yr Overtime i had collected some questions about the product.1.First of all i want to ask about taxiing the aircraft will it the aircraft contine taxiing after the engines have returned to idle, or will we have to add power everytime.2.What are the funtions of the runway turn off lights and will they be implemented in this product.3.Are the wipers functional on the aircraft or no.4.I read that the wings will flex and shake, but will they actually shake when the aircraft enters turbulance or how is it really simulated.I really can't wait for this product and that's why i am asking all these questions. Thank You Guys In Advance.Best Regards Adib Afraj Best Regards Adib Afraj
February 5, 200521 yr 2. The runway turn off lights provide illuminate an area at maybe a 45 degree angle to the nose, allowing the pilot to see the runway exits - not just the green lead off lighting of the runway. Yes they work, and they work independently of the landing lights and of each other. 3. The wipers are functional on the VC model. They operate at 2 different speeds as per the real a/c.
February 5, 200521 yr 1) what i see mostly when i fly is just applying power(very little bit), next returning it to idle and let the bird roll out, when speed goes low again(at high GW's) apply again a bit of thrust. This is mainly done to reduce loads on the oh-so-essential brakes which we might need in the rejected takeoff.2) Runway turnoff lights are what they say, lights used to illuminate the surrounding of the runway3) no idea4) no ideaCheers
February 5, 200521 yr 1. Yes the LDS 767 will taxi at idle thrust.2. Already answered3. Already answered4. The wings shake with turbulance. They are truly dynamic.Gary HayesLevel-D Simulations Development TeamNo im not a "real" pilot, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night.P4 3.0ghz w/HT & FSB..GeForce FX 5900 ultra 256MB..1 gig PC3200 DDR RAM..Sound Blaster Audigy w/5.1 THX Gary Hayes My Youtube No i'm not a "real" pilot, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night.
