OT: ATC Simulator

I'm kind of surprised I haven't heard more about this recently... I've just gotten back into flight simming - but - Is this worth getting? Reading the review here seems to indicate that it's so-so, with planes' appearances not actually being random. Is that right? The ATC Simulator website doesn't seem like it's exactly being updated, so maybe that's a bad sign...Andrew

I thought it looked kinda cool except for the cheesy voice synthesis... I'll probably get it eventually. What I'd really like to see is the company that made it develop a controller program for VATSIM. That would be awesome to have something that looked and operated just like the real scope the way ATC Sim does...

Planes appearance are not random because I beleive they are made to simulate real time aviation schedules. That being said, the situations can change with weather winds, emergency and more. Also, there are so many sectors and timelines to play with that it will take a long time before you even notice it.It's well done, but it's not easy. If you really like ATC and want the best program out there for the consummer. This is it. You will also learn alot about ATC.Do I recommend it. Well it depends on what you are looking for.Looking for a game that's easy to get into. NO.Looking for simulation that resembles the real thing. YESI like it, and the people I know that are into ATC love it.ROnHope this helps
