I seem to be having a bit of difficulty with the CSL in SB. I see other players, but their models are my own. I thought that the CSL would eliminate that. Can someone offer up a few suggestions why I see my own model on all players near to me? Maybe just simply elighten me on the inner workings of the CSL. Easy enough...right? :-zhelpSB2.34bFS2k2Mark

Mark,Did you check to see if your CSL aircraft are installed and are in the right place? Check FS2002aircraftcsl and in the CSL folder you should see about 90 folders. If not try reinstalling Squawk Box.. Good Luck!Jason

Yeah, they're there. I wonder if the aircraft they were using were models dveloped for their VA and they have a different entry in the.csv file on their machines? This would explain why I saw myself on every aircraft that I was close to. Additionally, I *did* see one CSL aircraft.Well, can someone tell me if I'm correct?Mark

Mark, you are showing that you are using SB2.3 Build 4 with FS2K2. You must use SB 2.3 Build 5 with 2K2. Build 4 was for FS2K only. Harv.

Maybe I'm wrong, but my squawkbox.exe version shows 2.3.0.5 and the description shows 2.3(b5) You guys know this stuff far better than I for sure. I have redownloaded sb-fs2002.zip. As mentioned above, I did see one CSL aircraft. The rest looked like me. Still in all, if I did see a CSL aircraft, that, to me, would imply that CSL is working.Mark

Hi,Same problem here. It is a little bit confusing now. Also what is the best solution to install the csl files when you use Squawkbox on a second PC using WideFS? Because when I load a flightplan I get the warning that no csl was found...My CSL are now installed in C:Program FilesMicrosoft GamesFS2002AircraftCSLRegards, Ferry
