May 3, 200323 yr Somehow I'm transmitting the callsign "Aerosweet Airlines" in my flightplans through SB. I don't know how this becomes attached. All I input in the plan is my callsign VV1G425 (Navy 1G425). How does the "Aerosweet Airlines" get attached, and how do I change that. Thanks in advance.
May 20, 200323 yr Not sure if I can help or not, but will see what I can do. I need a little bit more info though...Where are you seeing this Aerosweet Airlines?J. Jason VodnanskyJetStar Airlines http://www.jetstarairlines.comVATSIM Senior Instructor
May 20, 200323 yr I think I can sort thisAerosweet Airlines - a vietnamese airline by the way, has the IATA-code VV and the ICAO-code AEW. The virtual united states navy has the ICAO-code =VV. At least this is what ServInfo tells me. If you change your callsign to =VV1G425 I think your home free. May 24, 200323 yr I'm seeing this when I view my flight information on servinfo. How is this generated?
May 24, 200323 yr Yep, I do mean include a = before the VV. If you are using VV ServInfo will interpret this as Aerosweet. But if you write =VV ServInfo will interpret your callsign as VUSN. Simple. ServInfo actually have a little function that lets you query the database for issues like this. It's what I did.Hope it helps Mats JohanssonPMDG Flight Test Dept | Asus Z270-A | Intel i5-7600K @ 4.8 GHz OC/H2O | nVidia Geforce GTX 1070 8GB OC/O2|
