November 19, 200322 yr Ok, I'm stuck. I just finished re-doing my entire computer, removing FS2002 and SB and have replaced everything with FS2004.I went through the steps listed off the VATSIM page on how to setup SBRelay, SBHost and SB, but still no luck. What happens is when I start SBRelay I connect with no problem, I then go into FS2004 and connect multiplayer, I select SBRelay and join. Everything works their. I then choose HOSTSB from the FSIM menu under modules and SBHOST is loaded, I then load SB and the beginning part seems like its about to work. The first thing I get is a little pop-up box that says OVERRIDE. I figure its because of the fact that I'm not using FS2000 or FS2002, I click ok and it takes me to the window for Squawkbox Multiplayer Connect. I choose OK then it takes me to the search, I do all the stuff I'm use to doing and it then takes me to the main Squawkbox window that has the "Click Here to Get Into The Action" and thats where my problem begins. No Squawkbox window appears in SBHOST once I click on the "Click Here to get into the Action". It just takes me back to the SBHost window. I've even added the extra line to the FS9.CFG file and registered the application through FSUIPC and still no luck. Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong??I followed all the directions as requested and no workie. I even tried installing SB for FS2000 and FS2002!!!Help!!!
November 19, 200322 yr Hi,This could be due to the fact your Squawkbox window is out of view inside the SBHost window. For a test run, rename your SB.ini or Squawkbox.ini (usually located in C:WINDOWS, or %Winroot% dir) to something like SB.old, Squawkbox.old and try to set up a SB session. Doing this should revert any window positions to original. Also maximize the SBHost window to see if the SB window is hidden somewhere.Hope it helps, Mats JohanssonPMDG Flight Test Dept | Asus Z270-A | Intel i5-7600K @ 4.8 GHz OC/H2O | nVidia Geforce GTX 1070 8GB OC/O2|
