The whole team of Frankfurt FIR is calling all VATSIM pilots to join us in the "Frankfurt Summer 2002 Overload" event. We know we are controlling one of the busiest airports in europe. Now we want to test out our skills and our procedures against the real thing: We want you to try to overload Frankfurt !!!This Mega-Event will take place at the VATSIM network at saturday, June 8, 2002 between 1800Z and 2200Z. We expect a very high volume of traffic (both arrivals and departures) during the whole evening, but our goal is to keep the traffic flow up at all times. A full staff of highly trained and skilled controllers at Frankfurt, backed by real-life ATC members ensures that you will get the besst possible ATC while flying with us. We are using the actual arrival and departure procedures at Frankfurt to keep the traffic flow up. expect to be cleared for RNAV transistions and (if weather permits it) for approaches with visual separation to preceeding traffic.As this events require the pilots to be familar with the current procedures at Frankfurt EDDF, we
