The votes have been counted, and the 2003 VATSIM Convention site has beendecided upon. Despite stiff competition from other candidate cities, Frankfurt,Germany collected the largest number of votes. All six candidates - Frankfurt, Salvador, San Juan, Sao Paulo, Sydney andWarsaw - submitted impressive and exciting bids, and we would like to thankall those involved in the compilation and promotion of the bids.The date for this year's convention has yet to be fixed, but we'd love tosee you there. To all VATSIM users:On behalf of the whole VACC-SAG team we are very proud that our proposal for the VATSIM convention 2003 collected the largest number of votes among the VATSIM users. While we were very confident about our proposal, all other participants have also made highly interesting and appealing presentations, and each location would have been a great place for the meeting.
