Avsim's Cancer effort, Tom?

Recommended Posts

Hi,A while back Avsim encouraged people to participate in the United Devices "search for a cancer cure" using computational chemistry.I think Avsim had a huge team. Perhaps it might be a good idea to push it again since it's a good cause. Also, there is a team at Stanford that are doing reseach into protein folding, for things like Alzheimers Disease. This too is a worthy cause and could probably need to the exposure. Both projects are sponsored by Intel, and you can download the software from Intel. The Folding Protein link is here:http://folding.stanford.edu...and United Devices link is here:http://www.intel.com/cure/

And I am surprised there has never been any mention of the SETI@home project that is similar. I think it was the first one.Pete
