October 10, 200322 yr Does any one know of a "busy" airspace/control tower/airfield that I can park my plane at and listen to ATC? I want to get into flying online, but have absolutely no idea about ATC procedures apart from the ones built into FS9CheersJon
October 10, 200322 yr The answer to that depends on the time of day and day of week. The best way to identify a busy area is by referring to the VATSIM Who's on Line page, or downloading ServInfo - http://www.avsim.com/hangar/utils/servinfo/Just remember to put "Newbee - just listening" or something to that effect in your flight plan so the controllers know why you are not calling for clearance.
