  1. Just read this thread. I am SO happy to see Eagelsoft's return to P3D. Thank you.
  2. Have you considered using vPilot instead of FSInn ? It is MUCH simpler to set up and operate. Regarding Traffic models. There are payware and freeware. Below list is in random sequence. http://fsxaibureau.com/ http://unitedtrafficteam.com/ http://htai-models.com/ http://ut2.flight1.net/ http://www.world-of-ai.com/ MyTRAFFIC X PROFESSIONAL
  3. Until P3D 3.1 Lee Hetherington's TCAS II v7 IVSI and Transponder gauge was compatible with P3D. Something changed in 3.2 and since then the transponder appears just as a brown background rectangle without any functions. The IVSI works but in Squawk Standby mode. DOWNLOAD: http://library.avsim.net/esearch.php?DLID=&Name=&FileName=ilh_tcas_v4.zip I know ... its from FS2004 era but ... it still worked fine in P3D 3.1 well and it is a VERY useful gauge in implementing TCAS and Transponder with Mode C, Standby & Ident in old aircraft add on's which have analogue gauges. This enables pilots flying on line (VATSIM & IVAO) to have in cockpit Squawk and TCAS controls. Is anyone using it in P3D ? If not is there an alternative which includes Transponder and TCAS IVSI gauge ? Regards
  4. I tried to look for this thread above but it does not exist any more. I also find PAPI lights halo light oversized (even up to P3D 3.2.3) and it indeed it is independent from REX4 settings. I will try the tweak.
  5. Was 3.2.3.16769 released today ? Just saw it in my available downloads and cannot find any changelog for this minor update. http://prepar3d.com/SDKv3/LearningCenter/what_is_new/new_v32.html Any clues ? Disregard, found it in P3D forum.
  6. I never used this method in P3D 3.1 All their installers work flawlessly in 3.1 without any tricks. Maybe this is old history before they updated installers. Indeed it is, read what it writes in top post (October 2015 - 5 months ago) about impatient people not waiting for installers update.
  7. FlyTampa sceneries reside in P3D\FlyTampa folder. That's where I always had them and where FlyTampa configurator for scenery options always looks for them. There is not such thing as "flytampa installation" folder in the process.
  8. I don't understand what you mean "its not working". IS it added in the list once you click the scenery folder or not ? You mean its added but it does not show as scenery in P3D or its being added even though you click the folder ? It may be better you post there for help. http://www.flytampa.org/forum/
  9. Can you see them active in your scenery library listing ? If not, have you added them manually ?
  10. It is VMR Generator. Just read carefully the instructions. Very easy to set up and run if you follow the few instructions from the above link.
  11. For this I use FSCommander which shows AI Traffic and/or in aircraft with conventional VSI gauge I replace the VSI and Transponder with excellent ILH TCAS 4 which is the most realistic option ever. Its an FS9 gauge that works fine in FSX. With ILH TCAS you squawk standby, ident, Mode C with proper communication to vPilot for its status.
  12. So you did check the installation instructions that are contained in the link of the post I replied you below ? http://forum.avsim.net/topic/472249-status-of-fsinn/
  13. There are the instructions on how to install it. http://forums.vatsim.net/viewtopic.php?f=43&t=20466 Are you sure you still want FSInn ? It works with Win7 but it is tricky to some set ups to make it work properly. Why don't you give vPilot a try ? http://vpilot.metacraft.com/ Especially with VMRGenerator the matching of AI models is very good. Tips: http://forums.vatsim.net/viewtopic.php?f=132&t=64672
  14. For the benefit of future reader, PROBLEM SOLVED. It was the updated NVidia driver which seems to be incompatible with some (old) FSX stuff. I reinstalled older - tested - steady - GeForce drivers version 310.90 and all was fixed. If it ain't broken don't try to fix it ...
  15. A set of 4 images in daylight ! to indicate the problem better. 1. Before any action, other 2D panel displays OK in extended desktop 2. Pop Up of new 2D window DOCKED, displays OK in main screen 3. UNDOCKING of new 2D window makes it a "see through" window in main screen 4. Moving the UNDOCKED new 2D window on extended desktop then the display of the other open 2D window gets cloned in the new one; compare with picture #2 to see what it should have been displaying. Any other 2D window I will open after this it will be cloned the same way. Limit of 2D windows to be undocked at same time and displayed properly is 1.
  16. See here report of my problem: http://forum.avsim.net/topic/470895-2d-undocked-windows-wrong-display/ The ONLY thing I changed in my FSX before this started was the installation of Service Pack 1d PMDG 737 800-900 and 600-700, that is why I also ask here.
  17. Here is a visual description of the problem. On image 1 the poped up 2D panel is DOCKED top left of the main view screen (right side) and you can see its gauges while the other 2D panel is UNDOCKED and properly seen in extended desktop on the left side. On image 2 the poped up panel gets UNDOCKED in main view screen and changes to display an empty forward view by loosing its gauges and bitmap, just a see-through 2D panel On image 3 once moved on the left side screen (extended desktop) it clones view from the already opened 2D window below it. It never shows what it should. The more 2D windows I undock and move to extended desktop the more this happens with cloned views of other windows
  18. FSX Acceleration on Win7 64 - NVidia GTX660Ti. I just experienced a big change in my FSX Accel. Any 2D pop up panel window once undocked and being moved to extended desktop (side screen) it gets graphics inside it from other opened 2D panels or part of the cockpit view. Once I close all other opened ones and reopen it it displaye properly. Any FSX.CFG setting that could make make 2D windows a clone view of other 2D windows once undocked ? I updated NVidia driver to v353.06 via GeForce Experience and made sure NVidia Inspector (1.9.7.3) has the settings proper for FSX.EXE to run my GTX660Ti but that did not make any change. I checked this https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc526956.aspx and added render_3d_window=0 to all 2D panels in PANEL.CFG but there is no change. Anyone faced this ? The only recent change was the update of PMDG 737NGX to latest version which was released few months ago.
  19. South UK, Germany, Austria, lower Scandinavia, western Balkans and Greece are often manned. Others are also manned often but I just mentioned you the ones you'll find on line almost every evening. Don't go hunting for ATC, just enjoy routes you like most and you'll find ATC one evening or another. Look for scheduled EVENTS this is where you get guaranteed ATC and air traffic. Most of the events are advertised in VROUTE when you load it up.
  20. That is how I set up my vPilot and it works perfect http://forum.avsim.net/topic/466487-fsinn-acid/?p=3218240
  21. In the default Carenado MFD we get to see the Flight Plan with magenta lines when its programmed with the stock FMS. In the modifications with ISG FMS and/or the modification with GTN750 is there a way to see the flight plan in the Carenado MFD or the GTN750 map display ? For the Carenado MFD under ISG FMS integration the only way to do it would be loading the flightplan from FSX planner (which off course excludes SIDs, STARs and Approaches ? If yes, for the GTN750 would the same work or would it need other way to import/program it ?
  22. I solved my problems forever and put FSInn in the history bucket by: Installing vPilot (which now also supports ACCONFIG). Purchasing MyTraffiX Professional (because IVAOMTL was too heavy on FSX loadup and not all models FSX coded hence loosing AI with shadows ON at some airports) Running the model matching of it with VMRGenerator. That was it, now I have excellent FSX code models properly matched and displayed and I even see changes in Lights, Gear, Flaps etc. vPilot is far superior in voice channel connections compared to FSInn especially when run in networked laptop on the side like I do. Also its dead simple in operation once you set up the model matching. Read carefully each word on the VMRGenerator page e.g. I run all three Pass1 Pass2 Test.exe subtools to make sure all runs well. In MyTrafficX it only found 4~5 liveries it had to exclude for incompatibility.
  23. Continuing from the other thread about TCAS, I found that indeed its the VATSIM / IVAO online traffic that is the only one not visible in the MFD TCAS modes. :( How can this happen when the traffic from these clients is just like all other AI traffic ? I see them same like the rest of my AI package inside FSX only diferrence being not seing them inside CARENADO TCAS. I checked, FSUIPC all it has is a drop down to define the TCAS ID string (tail number, flight etc.) It does not change anything. Any ideas ?
  24. Ahaa, yes, I am referring to live traffic by VATSIM passed in FSX as regular AI from the vPilot client. I did not mention it because it is injected in FSX like all regular AI traffic and thought it was the same. First time I did not get this traffic in TCAS is with the Carenado Citation II I remember there were some settings in FSUIPC about TCAS traffic. I'll have to check the options and revert back with outcome.
