Community folder, again..always on the C drive
Fi5kuS replied to Fi5kuS's topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020)
I'm going to try this solution: https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/how-to-change-the-installation-path-of-installed-packages-inc-community-folder/471682/3?fbclid=IwAR1FyjPWPpKJ8ZnYT0te8NyTpQNUFFaaRmxQuQDrEZ4RZWKtOSPuY61LAcA Delete and start over again with fill MSFS reinstall. In short, what the poster suggests is: The Installed Packages (Community and Official ) folders do not need to be on the 😄 drive if you move them to the 😧 or other drive (D:\MSFS). Be sure that UserCfg.opt identifies where these folders are. These folders are taking up disk space on the 😄 drive and are not needed. They can be deleted to free up disk space. -
Community folder, again..always on the C drive
Fi5kuS replied to Fi5kuS's topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020)
But it didn't - I directed the MSFS install to another partition / drive, and it still makes a community folder within the C drive (which would end up taking alot of space since the content is copied / located twice). Makes no sense... -
Hi, so before the PMDG 737 I decided to do a full windows reinstall. From before, I had MSFS on a separate SSD drive, away from the Windows partition. But if I install it now (from the Xbox app), it makes a community folder on C no matter what (AppData\Local\MSFSPackages\Community etc). When you install MSFS, you can choose where to install packages. On default that is C drive, but I selected the drive where I wanted to install MSFS. Still, with this solution, it creates all these folders within the C partition (where windows is installed), meaning it will fill up quickly. What is the point of having several locations for this folder???

Fi5kuS replied to fogboundturtle's topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020)
Anyone got issues with overhead panel buttons that doesnt respond? I click them but nothing happens. (Hydraulics, windshield, signs, light etc). Sometimes I can click them into one position, like lights on, but cant move them back. Strange... -
A32NX on MSFS 1.14.5.0 (Update 3)
Fi5kuS replied to NZAA's topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020)
Join their discord channel in order to have the latest information on bugfixing. No point asking here tbh -
I thought that the update that came yesterday was supposed to fix this bug... Never mind, it was only a world update. According to FSElite there's an update currently due to release on 4th March 2021, and then on March 30th. https://fselite.net/news/microsoft-flight-simulator-development-update-world-update-3-previews-and-more/

Close to just returning this throttle now...spent hours trying to get this to work. So - I downloaded JoytoKey. At first it seemed quite difficult to assign buttons, but I figured out how to do it. So in the program, the Honeycomb throttle is 'joystick 2'. I can for instance edit the buttons 31 and 32, which are the gear lever on the throttle. If I in MSFS2020 assign 'gear down' and 'gear down' to G and H, respectively, on the keyboard - then edit button 31 and 32 to G and H (in JoytoKey). This works perfectly, I can use the gear lever on the throttle, BUT WAIT! Then the bug comes back. This is becuase G and H remain in a toggled state (depending if the gear lever is up or down).................... 😪
-
I understand that I have to remove the toggle switches and use a program such as Joytokey to reassign them. However, the program was not very intuitive and I cant find any tutorials for MSFS 2020...
-
Ok thanks, so that means that you cannot use the gear down/up function, as well as the left know switch that stays on whether you are on ALT, VS, HDG etc?
-
Thanks for link, however then I have to unbind ALOT of toggle buttons - even TOGGLE PAUSE which is the ESC button. Even toggle view on right mouse click?
-
I removed the mapping for the two other axis I wasnt using, and now heading is moving in 5 degrees at the time instead of 10. But speed bug is still 10. It I remove gear, nothing changes. I have that assigned already... If you go into devices and check what button that is illuminating, you will find that the left knob is always on, depending if your on ALT, VS, HDG etc

Honeycomb Bravo Throttle - 10 degree bug ?
Fi5kuS replied to Fi5kuS's topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020)
Searched the entire forum, can only locate posts that comment on the bug, not presenting a fix. Sorry! -
I did, I can only find topics addressing the issue, not posting any fix. It was supposed to be fixed with the latest MSFS2020 patch...
