10 sec freeze, then image becomes blurry when panning/viewin
Issue go away when disabling Frame Generation (I have RTX 4090). I first recorded a video that I attached here, but that is useless when the blurriness is not present on the video. Strange

Have no idea where this bug may come from. It happens randomly, at ground and in air. Game becomes totally unresponsive for like 10 seconds, and when it comes back, the image/game is blurry when looking around (panning), both inside the cockpit and external view. Havent changed any hardware for years, only difference is a windows update and latest Nvidia Driver. However, then I record the issue with Nvidia app, it looks completely normal. Is it screenrelated? Got a new OLED 4k screen a few weeks ago

Oh My
Ok thanks. I am currently using URP 0.8 with Eddies ReShade, but I'll give this a go.

What type of ReShade preset is this?

Nice pictures, thanks for sharing. Been living in Tromsø for the last 7 years. Btw, I thought you needed to run P3D fullscreen in order for ultra resolutions to work? If I run 3x or 4x DSR in windowed mode, it downscales to default resolution.

- ReShade causing P3D to crash when opening other add-ons
Hi, I've been having some serious difficulties making ReShade work with P3D 3.2.For some weird reason, when ReShade is enabled, it causes an insta CTD when loading programs like Active Sky 2016, vPilot and TrackIR (all of which utilizes simconnect). If I disable Reshade, all addons load perfectly fine, and the sim works normally. My usual procedure is to load up the sim with the given scenario THEN start vPilot, AS2016, TrackIR and so on. However, if I start AS2016 during the load screen, it connects normally to the sim and loads weather. This does not work for vPilot though. TrackIR needs to be started in-game, or else it messes up EZdok. The event manager does not seem to reflect whats wrong as it keeps giving me an EZCA error: Faulting application name: EZCA.exe, version: 1.1.8.7, time stamp: 0x2a425e19 Faulting module name: unknown, version: 0.0.0.0, time stamp: 0x00000000 Exception code: 0xc0000005 Fault offset: 0xf6e90000 Faulting process id: 0x5c Faulting application start time: 0x01d1f54a33d792b0 Faulting application path: C:\Program Files (x86)\EZCA\EZCA.exe Faulting module path: unknown Report Id: e6c09a5e-8340-4d50-b338-0b97d5b7a9be Faulting package full name: Faulting package-relative application ID: Moreover, when closing vPilot, I recieve the error 0x000014B.- Can someone verify this EXE.XML file?
You are absolutely correct, sir! Sometimes when you focus hard on finding mistakes you end up completely blinded by the obvious ones. AS2016 uses the as_btstrp_config_manager.exe. However, now I'm back to a previous issue where ReShade causes P3D to crash whenever starting AS2016, TrackIR or vPilot for instance. Switch ReShade off and everything is fine.- Can someone verify this EXE.XML file?
All of a sudden, EZdok and AS2016 stopped working. If I try to configure EZCA through the config.exe panel it says that "The ROOT section in the EXE.XML file not found. Likewise, AS2016 won't start because it think the file is corrupt. I don't see anything wrong. I just installed a few windows 10 updates, then bam, everything stopped working. <?xml version="1.0" encoding="windows-1252"?> <SimBase.Document Type="Launch" version="1,0" id="exe"> <Descr>Launch</Descr> <Filename>exe.xml</Filename> <Launch.Addon> <Name>as_btstrp_config_manager</Name> <Path>as_srv\as_btstrp_config_manager.exe</Path> </Launch.Addon> <Name>EZdok camera addon</Name> <Path>C:\Program Files (x86)\EZCA\EZCA.exe</Path> </Launch.Addon> <Launch.Addon> <Name>VFXCentral</Name> <Disabled>False</Disabled> <Path>C:/Program Files (x86)/OldProp Solutions Inc/VFXCentral/VFXCentral.exe</Path> <CommandLine>P3Dv3</CommandLine> </Launch.Addon> </SimBase.Document> Appreciate any help! By the way - I have one EXE.XML file in Programdata. This was recently changed/altered recently as well but I cant spot any errors.- ORBX Narvik (ENNK) is finally out

Hi, can someone please tell me how to enable the toggle button? Under the tab "Common" in the Mediator I have selected, or typed, "VK_SCROLL" on the RFX_TOGGLEKEY. The scroll lock button still doesn't work though.- Landing lights on clouds

Check your EXE.XML file (in users/local/roaming/p3d). It should say this: <Launch.Addon> <Name>EZdok camera addon</Name> <Path>C:\Program Files (x86)\EZCA\EZCA.exe</Path> </Launch.Addon>- Reshade crashing everything (AS16, TrackIR, vPilot etc)
So I have narrowed down that the reason for all my crashes are Reshade. My normal routine for P3D is starting the game first, then AS2016, vPilot, TrackIR etc. If I do that with Reshade enabled, P3D insta CTDs before the program has even loaded, with no error in event manager. Turning off Reshade, and everything works as normal. I have no idea where to start on this one. I have tried to add an exclusion for the "Mediator".exe and the entire Reshade folder in Windows Defender, but it keeps crashing P3D no matter what. I don't see how Reshade should conflict this much Anyone who can weigh in? EDIT: Apparently this person is/was facing the same issue as me. Wonder if he managed to solve it... http://www.avsim.com/topic/479400-reshade-causing-crashes-p3d-v25/- Touring The US in the 737

- Problems with Reshade and TrackIR together
Ok so I fixed the first issue. Second one is still ongoing. However, new problem: If Reshade is activated, and I start AS2016, P3D instacrashes to desktop - Problems with Reshade and TrackIR together
Hi, First problem: So I went on installing Reshade and applying a preset using the Mediator-tool and while loading up P3D (3.2.3), it looks like the shader gets implied in-game but still I get the error message: D:\Prepar3D v3.2\SweetFX\Shaders\SMAA.h(665, 9): error X3019: if statement conditional expressions must evaluate to a scalar If this message somehow disappeared I would't mind, but it won't so, anyone seen this before? Second problem: When starting up TrackIR with Reshade enabled, P3D crashed (CTD) with a Kernelbase.dll fail. Usually this error is connected to GPU drivers, but I have updated to latest Nvidia Driver with no luck. I've seen others using Reshade and TrackIR together perfectly. If I disable Reshade injection, P3D and TrackIR work flawlessly. Any ideas on this one? Thanks- Active Sky 2016 and Active Sky Cloud Art (AS16 & ASCA) Preview Screenshots.

Fi5kuS replied to HUSSAR's topic in The AS16 and ASCA | Active Sky | Active Sky Next | XPAX Support ForumAfter testing the AS2016 trial next to Active Sky Next I can't say the difference is enormous. Frame-rates are pretty much the same, I can still spot ugly popcorn-clouds - especially at high altitudes and still distorted clouds at high latitudes. Maybe I have to combine with Cloud Art to spot the real difference. However, I managed to obtain several cloud layers with AS2016 in contrast to Active Sky Next though. However, the so-called flying-through-clouds effect was also present during takeoff roll and climb, even when not close to clouds. This surely has to be a bug, or?- X-Plane 10 in Beautiful 4K [Warning: Large Images]
