Airspeed Indicator inop at 4000'

Featured Replies

When flying on VATSIM, the airspeed indicator fails above about 4000'. I have tried this on several planes (737, 767) with deice on. Comes back on when descending below 4000'. When not flying online, works fine. Has anyone experienced this? Any suggestions to try? Is this a technical issue or a flying model/realism issue?Thanks,DudleyFS2004SB 2.3.5Directx9Win XP

Thanks Martin. I assumed (incorrectly) that the new sophisticated jets would have automatic pitot heat. As yet I cannot find any indicator on either of the 767 panels I am using which would show whether pitot heat is on or not. I will give it a go.Dudley

Hmmm,Pitot Heat normally is a switch located on the overhead panels. I remember it from the DF737 I

Cheers,
