FS2004 ?Are you talking about the METAR ASRC fetches for $dep and for $arr ?Do you mean METAR ?Kyprianos Biris :-cool[link:avsim.com/greece/hvacc]Hellenic vACChttp://vateud.org/images/vatsim-eurs.gifhttp://vatsim.pilotmedia.fi/statusindicato...tor=OD1&a=a.jpg Hellenic vACC - Olympic Aegean Virtual Prepar3D 5.3 | CPU i9 10900K | VGA: RTX 3070 | RAM: 32GB DDR4 | Monitor: 3440x1440
April 22, 200422 yr Ok, Let's seeOn start up I can tune in the ATIS channel on Com2 at my departure airport in FS9 and get the automated weather report. I'm assuming the weather is coming from FS9's automated update feature. Once I reach my destination though and tune Com2 into the ATIS channel for that airport I do not get the automated report. This would be an airport where a controller isn not available during my approach. I can get an updated METAR in servinfo but I would think there is a way to have the AI weather still work when under unicomm operation. Thanks,Elvis
April 24, 200422 yr Make sure you monitor both COM1 and COM2.You can only transmit in one of two but you can monitor both. Some FS panels have the "Radio Panel" that enables you to do this and some don't.If you then tune to ATIS on COM2 you'll be able to hear it.Also make sure the FS airport you refer to does have an ATIS in MSFS.Also, this is a general FS question non related to VATSIM as I understand it. I suggest you'd better psot such stuff in the MSFS General forum here at AVSIM.Kyprianos Biris :-cool[link:avsim.com/greece/hvacc]Hellenic vACChttp://vateud.org/images/vatsim-eurs.gifhttp://vatsim.pilotmedia.fi/statusindicato...tor=OD1&a=a.jpg Hellenic vACC - Olympic Aegean Virtual Prepar3D 5.3 | CPU i9 10900K | VGA: RTX 3070 | RAM: 32GB DDR4 | Monitor: 3440x1440
