Why do I get so much spam when controlling at VATSIM.Then there are so many rules including local ones.Why have local rules, sometimes its just supervisors making them to suit themselves.Don't suspend me its just a comment.I know how easily you get upset.Stay calm Mr Moderator. err...spam?I'm not quite sure what you mean, but as long as I've been controlling there hasn't been any spam.Now as far as messages from supervisors...the only reason I see they would contact you is if you were doing something wrong. :D

Vatsim is a free-to-use network with thousands of members. Each member expects a certain standard of other pilots and controllers.If we removed these rules,as you suggest, then there would be Chaos and it would mean the end of Vatsim.The standard of controlling would plummet as would the conduct in the online community.Just because you can't see the big picture-doesnt mean that others(Like the Vatsim Board of Governors) dont either.And as for Supervisors making up their own rules-the rule making process in Vatsim is a strict policy and list of procedures to ensure that only rules which are really needed are implemented.If a supervisor wants to implement any rule-you obey it.Once you're an active member for as long as most supervisors-you'll understand.John http://homepage.eircom.net/~eamonnmca/images/logo_ba.JPGwww.bavirtual.co.uk Senior Captain Simflight.com Staff Reviewer
