September 25, 200421 yr If you planned to fly in Central Europe lately, today is the day! 2 major events with more than 50 controllers participating will take place in Switzerland, Austria, Poland and Germany. Our eastern colleagues at Poland start at 1600Z with their "Chopin V" event, and they present their capital airport EPWA fully staffed! From delivery up to 3 CTR positions, full service is provided all over the country.Later on VACC-SAG enters the scene at 1800Z with a massive amount of 42 active ATC positions and not less than 15 airports staffed to await a full load of traffic. From small local airfields like EDQM Hof or EDFZ Mainz-Finthen (VFR only) up to the big international airports, you will find best service everywhere from Ground and Tower up to Center. Our controllers will be active up to 2100Z at least, perhaps also later if there is still traffic to serve. Not yet convinced? Have a look at the Eurobook map to get a visual impression how "OneSky feeling" looks like in Central Europe:If you need charts visit the webpages of VACC-SAG ( http://www.vacc-sag.org ) or the Polish VACC ( http://www.pl-vacc.org ). And all controllers urge you to fly with official flightplans during the event, which can be obtained on the Polish VACC webseite and the VACC-SAG Flightplan Center ( http://fpc.vacc-sag.org ).But most of all you are invited to have great fun while flying with us - Central Europe awaits you!Yours,Martin Georg/EDDFVACC-SAG PR & Events Coordinator *** mailto:[email protected]http://vatsim.pilotmedia.fi/statusindicato...r=SAG01&a=a.jpg Cheers, Martin Georg/EDDF Contributing editor, FS-Magazin
