October 17, 200421 yr When flying online, how do I know when I'm entering another airspace? Sometimes when flying in uncontrolled airspace I reach a point where I'm entering controlled airspace but I can't really tell, is there a program that can inform me when I'm entering it?
October 17, 200421 yr Hello, best estimate is to have a look at the Map of Servinfo. This map will show you the sector boundaries of CTR controllers. Keep in mind that the Servinfo data is always 3-5 Minutes behind actual data. 2nd advice is to keep an eye on the Squawbox text info all the time. A controller will give you a private call on thext to contact him when you enter his airspace (it Cheers, Martin Georg/EDDF Contributing editor, FS-Magazin
October 17, 200421 yr Thanks Martin, I did get a message today saying just that and I was just about to write that here.Is there no program that will alert you with for example of certain tone when you enter a controlled airspace. That would be nice.
