SBhost.dll

Featured Replies

I am still trying to get online and I think I may be getting somewhere with SBhost.exe. At least SB starts, I don't seem to be getting any action but it's something. However if I try to use SBhost.dll SB never starts. I am left with the SBhost screen on top of FS and that's it. The only way out is to kill FS.I have looked thru the documents in the PRC and I have got some guides from 'Virtaul Pilot - UK' but is there an 'idiots guide' of what I should be doing to get online?PLEASE HELP

Regards

Latest position - I can connect using SBhost.exe. Earlier today I got everything up and running at EGCC. Many thanks to the controller who was very patient with my blunderings. So what I want to know now is what's stopping me using SBhost.dll?

So would I.Its a problem that I say about 1 in 1000+ have. I have helped 100's of people get on-line and less then a hand full had this problem. There must be some common hardware or software those of you have and causes this problem. The only way you could find out is to format your hard drive install nothing but what you need to get on-line. If the problem goes away then start reinstalling your software one at a time until the problem starts. If you get the problem right from the start then it must be hardware or a hardware driver.I would suggest save your time and just work with the .exe host, only thing the DLL is go for is full screen but even then some people (like me) have problems with that one.

Thanks Dave.I think I will wait until someone else finds the cause. Next step is to try and get AVC working, then I guess it's even more hours locked away with the PC.Thanks again for your help.
