November 25, 200421 yr Hi everyone!I have no problems with connecting to Vatsim with Squawkbox using SB Relay and SB Host. Everything is fine until takeoff. When I'm airborne in my FFX/SGA Boeing 737-700 or Kittyhawk 737-800 the speed suddenly shows "000" and I can't control it. I have to select the aircraft again from the FS9 menu to correct it. The other problem I have is when there's a new aircraft approaching the area I'm in it says in Squawkbox "SAS175 has joined the session" and a message in FS9 comes up saying "Your aircraft is not compatible with FS2004. Do you want to disable the features not working?" And I have to click yes or no. This happens everytime a new aircraft joins the session.Any ideas, please.Tomas
November 25, 200421 yr > "Your aircraft is not compatible with FS2004"You might miss Vatsim defined aircrafts in FS, or the warning for unknow Vatsim aircrafts are not disabled.1. Do you have the map "C:Program FilesMicrosoft GamesFlight Simulator 9Aircraftcsl" with all airplane model such as "model.A320" and so on.2. Does your fs9 config-file "C:Documents and SettingsUserXXApplication DataMicrosoftFS9fs9.CFG" contain following:[FrameCallNoWarn]~van=1A320=1A340=1AT72=1.. and so on.Lennart Vedin SAS202
November 25, 200421 yr Hi Lennart!Thank for the reply. I have the CSL folder in my Aircraft folder of FS9. But I haven't edited the FS9 config-file. Where can I find that information? Do you know why my own aircraft speed gauge show 000?Tomas
November 25, 200421 yr You need to switch on Pitot de- ice ( Shift + H)-after a minute or so the ASI will show againThe info about editing the .cfg file is contained in the readme of SBrelay - you merely have to cut and paste the list into the .cfg file and save it.Dave
November 29, 200421 yr I still get this even after putting the lines into the fs9.cfg... if it does happen... ALWAYS click "YES" that means next time the aircraft type is seen by you. the message won't come up.Im still hoping to find an F14, F5, F16, Concorde, C405 and varous other rare types to do this with on vatsim ;) I have all the normal airliners and lighties covered, C172, Piper Archer, Beech B58, all the boeings and Airbuses, MD-11 and a few others... but then, SB3 will probably fix this too.
