Trouble with voice

Featured Replies

Hi all,I installed SB3, and I went out and bought a computer headset with mic to communicate on VATSIM with. I installed AVC, but I cannot communicate on VATSIM with voice. I would like, if possible, to be told how to get myself to be able to communicate with voice, as I find the text is too much of a hassle during important phases of flight. Thanks a lot to anyone who replies,Matthew

Matthew,Please read the SB3 manual found here www.squawkbox.ca No need to install AVC. The voice engine is integrated into SB3 and the manual describes how to set this up. It is by the way the same engine as for AVC.If you are still at a loss. Get back here with a little more in-depth information about your problem.HOpe it helps,

Matthew, if voice ATC is available for the ATC you want to select, you'll automatically be set for that voice channel when you tune the cockpit's radio. Don't try to load the Advance Voice Client. This might cause a conflict with SB3's built-in voice client. You can use SB3's start --> Options --> Voice menu to test and configure your audio hardware. -- L. James-------------L. D. ....... and try not to take too much notice of the calibration routine. Only once have I ever got my setup to pass this test yet i use it without any problem at all.
