So what is the best way to terminate a flightsay you are on an IFR flight plan and you must quit early. what are to do under the following conditions1 fp filed. halfway through a flight and you need to leave.2 fp filed , and you crash or technical issue with your computer3 crash on t/o or final.. does a flight plan close automattically

Perhaps this is just obvious but I wondered if there was some proper procedure.

In the event of no ATC at your current location simply disconnect. Nobody is going to come knocking on your door asking why you are still not flying ;)After 60 minutes your plan will have been erased from the system.
