Flight Plan Database / Flight Planners

Featured Replies

Hello,I am currently searching for a web-based flight plan database.I am a VATSIM member but I couldn't find something like a fp database on vatsim.net. Do they have something like that? Or are there any other free fp databases on the net?My second question is, which flight planners can you recommend? I'm just thinking about purchasing FS BUILD. Is it a good flight planner for advanced flight simulation, including SID, STAR etc.?ThanksMalte

Personally I love FSBuild. I am fortunate enough to have access to real life tools and in general FSBuild is pretty good and of course exports to all of the formats I need and want.VATSIM is about to release vroute, more information of which is available from VATSIM's forums. In addition, you should check out Routefinder - http://rfinder.asalink.net/free/ and within the USA Simroutes - http://eleventhstreet.com/

Hello Martin, you're right, I'm from Germany. Thanks for the link to VATROUTE, I've never seen it on the VACC-SAG site before, maybe I was just too blind ;-)Meanwhile, I've bought FS BUILD, I think that this tool has the advantage that you can include SIDs/STARs and also use different aircraft. Thanks & RgdsMalte
