In another forum, a discussion warmed up about what is "news". I personally take "news" as it comes, and reviews when I can get them, but I see a lot of questions about flying in general which begs for "what is a good book". I know pilot training books, and good ole "Stick and Rudder", and yes there's information in the sims, but a review of a good basic book..sort of "How to be a Sims Pilot" or, haha, "Flying the best, for Dummies"..etc etc..does anyone even make such a book? I mean sort of a Boy Scout manual-type, "take you by the hand" introductory to get feet wet with IFR, VOR, jargon, etc etc focused on flight sims. Just a thought :)
