Copilot needs some action...

I setup 2 Win98SE machines over an IPX network and installed Wideview.Everything works as advertisied but I'm wondering if it's possible to have the client machine use flight controls as well. The host machine has a gameport version of the CH Virtual Pilot Pro while the client has a USB Virtual Pilot Pro.Is there a method or utility out there to obtain this? Thanks for any help offered.Smokintodd out.Operating out of CYXU.Athlon 1.4Asus A7M512MB DDRGF3 Ti200SB LiveWin98SE

The problem is that you don't want to have two controls doing two separate things. What you need is a "dummy" yoke mechanically tied to your real one so they both move together.Peter http://bfu.avsim.net/sigpics/PeterR.gifBFU Forums Moderator

http://bfu.avsim.net/sigpics/logo75t.gifBush Flying Unlimited"At home in the wild"Looking for adventure? Thanks for the reply. I knew of the mechanically linked idea but was hoping to do it the way I described above. You do have a point but as long as 1 pilot is 'hands off' while the other is flying, it shouldn't create problems.I think it may work it we both had USB CHVPP's plugged into the same computer.Smokintodd out.Operating out of CYXU.Athlon 1.4Asus A7M512MB DDRGF3 Ti200SB LiveWin98SE

It might still work with one game port and one USB device. I'm just not sure what FS will think when it "sees" two different yoke positions, for example. Give it a try. It won't damage anything. If you had two gameport or two USB versions, then you could use a switchbox to switch between pilot and co-pilot.Peter http://bfu.avsim.net/sigpics/PeterR.gifBFU Forums Moderator
