April 17, 200422 yr Wayne,I am sorry not to be able to answer your question, since I do not own FDC. However, I do own FSHotseat and I can only say that I am using it all the time. Apart from the much more realistic aircraft sounds, I like the interactive process at the flightdeck and the fact that your flight is being evaluated at the end. It really makes you want to perform best.Best regards,Henri
April 18, 200422 yr NoelOne of the updates fixed the need to put the CD in each week. Can't remember which one though!
April 18, 200422 yr Well, I do not have FShotsesat so no way for me to compare the two. AND, as an FDC Team Member, I am pretty biased in favor of FDC anyway. :-)FWIW, I fly the KA350 90% of the time, the rest of the flying is the C182S and a little Lear time. Have also used FDC with FS2002 and the Caravan and Baron. Use FDC for every flight, configuring it as necessary to accomodate the aircraft I am using.Check out the On-course Software web site (link in the FDC forum) and that should give you some idea of what to expect. I will tell you this, FDC does have a learning curve if you want to get the most out of it. Reading the documentation, including the readme files for the updates/enhancements, is essential.
