Hi Guys,My sons computer has become available to me, although I have no room for the monitor, I have bought a video switch so I can see the desktop on my main computer. Its home built - Athlon XP1700 512mb ram.I already run another computer which I use for project magenta, I do have a lot of scenery and add - on programs etc, although my main FS computer is Athlon 2.2 - 1.5 Gb ram - Gforce 4 Ti 4600, it still 'bends' under the weight of all these extra programs running at the same time as FS2002 and frame rates are now down to 12fps with all setting max-ed out, (yes I know I should turn them down but the eye candy is not as nice!)Is there any way I can run 'inbuilt' add-ons on this machine to help with the processing load?I have = My Traffic + Active Sky + Flight Tracker + Flight Deck Companion + FS Nav + many Goflight units including 6 radio modules, drawing power, I had to add a 500watt power pack!, which are all running at the same time as FS2002 on the main computer.I dont know if I could do it through FSUIPC and WideServe? Also I remember Wide FS, could I run this and another FS2002 with the above programs on my sons old computer?Would this work?Regards Nigel S *over the hill, but not yet the flightsim hobby!* :-halo

Nigel,Any add-ons that use FSUIPC can be run on a separate computer by using WideFS.Peter http://bfu.avsim.net/sigpics/PeterR.gifBFU Forums ModeratorRenegade/Seawolf Design Group (RSDG)

http://bfu.avsim.net/sigpics/logo75t.gifBush Flying Unlimited"At home in the wild"Looking for adventure?
